China has approved the release of the Genshin Impact, GTA and ZZZ hybrid

Ananta, formerly known as Project Mugen, is poised for a full launch after its initial promotional material generated significant buzz. The game, a blend of popular titles like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even elements reminiscent of GTA, is wrapped in a captivating anime aesthetic.

Approved for release in China, Ananta is slated for a 2025 launch across PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. A December 5th trailer showcased the game as an open-world urban RPG, placing players in the role of an A.C.D. agent navigating the sun-kissed coastal city of Nova, a location ripe with mystery and adventure.

This ambitious undertaking is a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain. The developers highlight the game's global appeal, attributing it to a unique fusion of familiar environments and a compelling supernatural twist.

Key features of Ananta include four-player team-based combat, a distinctive art style, and fluid, high-speed movement.
