Becoming a Hollow in the Hollow Era

You begin as a Soul Spirit, facing a pivotal choice: Shinigami or Hollow. To embrace the Hollow path, simply break the links on your chain. Don't worry about rushing; a link breaks automatically every two minutes, ensuring your transformation even with inaction.

Warning: While Hollows are visually striking, their gameplay can be more grindy than Shinigami. Reaching Vasto Lorde or Espada requires significant time investment and repetitive tasks.

Hollow Progression in the Hollow Era

Your journey to Gillian involves grinding—killing and consuming other Hollows. Reach level 15 to evolve, but at level 10, access the Hueco Mundo dimension via a Garganta for easier hunting. Remember, Hollows face attacks from both Shinigami and other Hollows, unlike Shinigami who primarily fight Hollows.

Gillian Form in the Hollow Era

As a Gillian, continue eliminating Hollows and interacting with Hollow Pillars in Hueco Mundo. Accumulate enough Progression Points to enter your inner world and defeat five challenging Hollows three times to become an Adjucha.

These inner-world Hollows are significantly tougher, but death isn't a setback—simply retry.

Adjucha Form in the Hollow Era

Now you choose: Vasto Lorde or Arrancar.

Arrancar Progression

Interact with a Crystal Bush (spawning every 30-60 minutes in Hueco Mundo) to become an Arrancar. You'll gain access to Hueco Mundo via a keybind and unlock Arrancar Resurrecciones. Currently, Arrancars utilize Kendo skills.

At level 50, pursue your Resurrección.

Vasto Lorde Progression

To become a Vasto Lorde, amass 800 Progression Points by eliminating and consuming Hollows. Death results in a 1% loss of points. You'll also need all Hollow Items, which have random drop chances from various Hollow types.

Gillian: 6 Points
Adjucha: 4 Points
Vasto Lorde: 8 Points
Arrancar: 8 Points
Espada: 10 Points

Hollows: Back Fins (Epic, 5% drop chance, +1 HP regeneration), Fin Tail (Legendary, 1% drop chance, +1 Reiatsu regeneration and +1 Speed)
Gillian: Back Spikes (Rare, 10% drop chance, +1 Reiatsu)
Adjucha: Tail (Epic, 5% drop chance, +1 Speed), Single Horn (Uncommon, 25% drop chance, +1 Strength), Double Horn (Rare, 10% drop chance, +2 Strength), Triple Horn (Epic, 5%, +3 Strength)
Vasto Lorde: Spiral Horn (Epic, 5% drop chance, +1 Reiatsu)

Becoming Espada in the Hollow Era

From Vasto Lorde, interact with a Crystal Bush in Hueco Mundo to become an Espada. Disable Atmosphere, Bloom, and Depth of Field for easier spotting.

How to Get Your Resurrección

Reach level 50, then speak to Isen (King of Hueco Mundo) in Hueco Mundo. Defeat 50 Arrancars to unlock your Resurrección, activated by a maxed Rage Bar (filled through damage dealt or received). The default keybind is “Y”.
