Torchlight: Infinite's eighth season, Sandlord, has arrived, marking the game's most expansive season to date. Now officially live, this season introduces a host of new features that shake up the traditional gameplay, inviting players to construct a floating empire in the sky.

What’s in Store in Torchlight: Infinite’s Eighth Season Sandlord?

The centerpiece of this season is the Cloud Oasis, a city you'll manage and develop. By gathering resources in the Netherrealm, you can transform them into tangible benefits through the employment of workers in five distinct professions. This system unlocks new trade routes, bonuses, and seasonal rewards, blending action RPG combat with elements of a strategy simulation.

The character Thea has undergone a dramatic transformation, now known as the Blasphemer. No longer a divine channeler, she now spreads desecration, inflicting Erosion Damage that intensifies over time.

The Deep Space region has also been revamped, introducing five new stages packed with monsters and survival challenges. Additionally, a new item type, Probes, has been added. Functioning similarly to Compasses, Probes occupy a unique slot and enhance both the rewards and the difficulty of your gameplay.

New Stages Are Here

The endgame experience has been enriched with new Legendary Stages. These rare stages offer unique loot setups that can significantly alter your strategy. Some zones deviate from the norm, such as the Abyssal Vault, which contains no enemies but is filled with Mystery Chests ready to be opened.

Conversely, the Sea of Rites introduces a swarm of goblins that don't attack but can summon a secret boss if defeated. The Supreme Showdown stage features the Golden Gaze mechanic, allowing both players and bosses to use it. A well-timed hit can transform enemies into treasure instantly.
