Funcom made the announcement on their official website on April 25, revealing plans for a dedicated weekend to test Dune: Awakening globally. Alongside this exciting news, they unveiled a new trailer that showcases some of the game's cinematic cutscenes and story snippets.

The beta test is set to welcome a massive number of new players. Unlike previous closed betas, this one will not have an NDA, allowing participants to freely share their experiences and even stream their gameplay online.
