In Exoloper, you won't be directing mechs from an overhead view; instead, you'll be in the thick of the action, piloting your mech in first-person combat. If you've been yearning for a Mechwarrior-like experience on your mobile device, Exoloper might just be the game you've been waiting for.
Exoloper invites you to take on enemy mechs as you fight to liberate your homeworld from the clutches of the nefarious Commonwealth. The game offers a free campaign that lets you dive into the action and decide if you want to delve deeper into another, premium section of the game.
The mech battling genre has always been a bit of a niche market. While Mechwarrior had its glory days in the late '90s and early 2000s, recent years have seen only a few entries, like the contentious yet praiseworthy Mechwarrior 5 and Clans. It's a pleasant surprise, then, to see a spiritual successor like Exoloper hit iOS. While it may not match the depth of Mechwarrior's mech simulation, Exoloper promises a highly immersive experience.
