Farlight 84 is back with an exciting new expansion called Hi, Buddy!, which is launching today. This update brings a host of new features, including the innovative Buddy System, new events, and revamped maps that are sure to enhance your gaming experience.

The star of the Hi, Buddy! expansion is undoubtedly the Buddy System. These adorable pets are designed to add a touch of cuteness to the battlefield, potentially making the intense action feel a bit less aggressive. But don't let their charm fool you—these Buddies are more than just for show; they actively assist you during gameplay.
There are two types of Buddies to collect: Common Buddies and Archon Buddies. Common Buddies, such as Buzzy, Morphdrake, Petal Peeper, Smokey, Snatchpaw, Squeaky, Sparky, and Zephy, are easier to capture and come with useful abilities. On the other hand, Archon Buddies like Time Dominator and Storm Empress are rarer and boast incredibly powerful skills. Time Dominator can manipulate the Safe Zone to move towards it, while Storm Empress can summon a massive tornado that lifts and damages enemies over time.
To capture these Buddies, you'll need Buddy Orbs, which can be found scattered across the map. These Orbs are versatile, as they can store up to six tactical items, making them more than just a single-use tool. Curious to see these Buddies in action? And There’s A Lot More!
The Sunder Realms map has undergone a significant makeover, introducing new terrains, structures, and landmarks. You'll now find yourself sliding down ramps, seeking cover in upgraded buildings, and navigating around unique sights like giant duck statues and floating boulders.
Additionally, the new Tactical Core system allows you to earn Trait points as you level up, which you can use to upgrade your hero's skills and unlock new abilities. To fully maximize these abilities, you'll need Trait Activation Cards, so keep an eye out for them while playing.
