Mortal Kombat 1 has unveiled early footage of a new Kameo fighter coming to the game in March. Read on to find out more about Madam Bo and what she’s bringing to the game!
Mortal Kombat 1 Welcomes Madam Bo
Mortal Kombat 1 is set to expand its roster with the introduction of a unique Kameo fighter, Madam Bo, the owner of Fengjian Teahouse. Scheduled for release on March 18th, 2025, she will join the game as part of the Kombat Pack 2 and the Khaos Reigns expansion. Alongside her, players will also see the chilling arrival of T-1000 from Terminator 2.Before her role as a Kameo fighter, Madam Bo was introduced in Mortal Kombat 1’s story mode, where she faced a staged defeat by Lin Kuei assassin Smoke. This scenario was a clever ploy to prepare Raiden and Kung Lao for the tournament. Despite her unassuming appearance, Madam Bo is a formidable fighter, with ties to the Lin Kuei and a background in martial arts, having mentored both Raiden and Kung Lao.
The gameplay footage showcases Madam Bo in action, assisting her pupils with powerful kicks and punches. Her unique moves include smashing opponents with glass bottles, culminating in a spectacular fatality where she kicks off her opponent's head and catches it on a tea tray.
T-1000 Makes Its Guest Debut
Joining Madam Bo on March 18th is the T-1000, the iconic shapeshifting villain from Terminator 2: Judgment Day. This liquid metal assassin enters the Mortal Kombat universe as a playable character, utilizing its shapeshifting abilities to wield a sharp sword or a machine gun against opponents.
Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Expansion
The addition of Madam Bo and T-1000 is part of the Khaos Reigns expansion for Mortal Kombat 1. This expansion extends the narrative of Liu Kang’s New Era, offering an all-new cinematic experience. Players will dive deeper into the story as Liu Kang leads his champions in a battle against the menacing Titan Havik, who threatens the stability of the New Era.
The Kombat Pack 2, which includes Madam Bo and T-1000, also features a range of characters released over time. The pack started with the return of Sektor, Noob Saibot, and Cyrax in September 2024, followed by Ghostface from Scream in November, and Conan the Barbarian in January 2025. Madam Bo and T-1000 will be the latest additions to this exciting lineup.
