Avid Games has meticulously crafted a visually diverse roster of monsters, each inspired by real-world mythological and folkloric horrors.
The game boasts an impressive range of creatures, encompassing Japanese Yokai (like Jikininki and Kuchisake), Slavic monsters (such as Vodyanoy and Psoglav), and a global menagerie including Bigfoot, Mothman, the Nandi Bear, El Chupacabra, and countless others. Each card features detailed, researched descriptions, enriching the gameplay experience.
Eerie Worlds features four Alliances (Grimbald, Zerrofel, Rivin, and Synnig) and multiple Hordes, creating intricate tactical depth through varied monster properties. Your monster collection, known as your Grimoire, can be upgraded by merging duplicate cards. Starting with 160 basic cards, merging unlocks numerous additional cards, with more planned for future releases.
