What Does Genshin Impact Version 5.5 Have in Store?

In this update, you'll explore the southwestern part of Natlan, where you'll encounter a new tribe, a massive volcano, and new characters. The Great Volcano of Tollan holds ancient secrets and a dormant sacred city that you'll uncover. As magma stirs beneath the surface, delve into the mysteries of the "Flamelord's Blessing" and the enigmatic Little One. Here, you'll meet the Collective of Plenty, a tribe that values fitness and strength challenges as a way of life.

Two new characters will join the fray in Version 5.5: Varesa and Iansan. Varesa, a 5-star Electro Catalyst user, brings a unique support ability by restoring Phlogiston after consuming food, enhancing your team's capabilities outside of combat. Iansan, a 4-star Electro Polearm wielder and one of Natlan's six heroes, offers a blend of offensive and supportive roles. When a teammate triggers a Nightsoul Burst, she gains the Warming Up effect, providing continuous healing.

The Bloomflower Trials Are Making a Comeback

Version 5.5 also brings back the Bloomflower Trials, where you'll team up with Mavuika, Ifa, and other Natlan allies to help a sick Saurian. Engage in the fun mini-game "Saurian Treasure Seeker," guiding baby Saurians through obstacles to collect treasures. Completing this event allows you to invite Ororon for free.
