According to the official press release, MindsEye centers around protagonist Jacob Diaz, who is equipped with a neural implant known as the MindsEye. This implant, however, has compromised his memory, subjecting him to fragmented flashbacks of his military service. Driven by a need to uncover the truth about his past, Jacob embarks on a mission that pits him against an AI-powered military force determined to thwart his quest.MindsEye has been in the works for several years since Benzies left Rockstar Games to establish his new studio, Build a Rocket Boy. In collaboration with Hitman developer IO Interactive, Benzies is crafting what is billed as a AAA action-adventure game. Alongside MindsEye, the project will introduce the Everywhere platform, previously likened to a "Big budget Roblox" following a visit to their studio in 2024.
