Healing Guide for Dynasty Warriors Origins

By CharlotteMay 06,2025

If you're diving into the action-packed world of *Dynasty Warriors: Origins*, you might find yourself taking a bit of a beating, especially if you're new to the series. No worries, though—learning how to heal is a breeze and will keep you in the fight longer.

In *Dynasty Warriors: Origins*, healing is as simple as munching on a meat bun, a tasty treat that you can find scattered throughout the game. You can snag these buns by smashing pots near enemy bases or by defeating Enemy Officers on the Historian and Wayfarer difficulty settings. Just a heads up: on Hero and Ultimate Warrior difficulties, those officers won't be dropping any buns, so you'll have to rely on those pots.

Once you've got a meat bun in your inventory, you can chow down at any time during battle by pressing Up on the D-Pad. If your inventory is already full when you pick up a new bun, it'll be automatically consumed unless you're at full health. At the start, you can carry up to three buns, but if you're finding that's not enough, you can boost your capacity with the Meat Bun Glutton skill.

For those who'd rather focus on slashing through hordes without worrying about their health, there's an "Auto-Use Meat Buns" option in the Configuration menu. Enable this, and your buns will be used automatically when your health dips below a certain level. Even with auto-use on, you can still manually eat a bun whenever you feel the need, so it's a great safety net to have enabled.
