Kingdom Come 2: Handling Wandering Drunks

By ChristianMar 13,2025

In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, you'll encounter a diverse cast of NPCs, some friendly, some not so much. Determining their intentions isn't always straightforward. This guide focuses on the Wandering Drunk.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Wandering Drunk Location

Wandering Drunk Location

The Wandering Drunk resides in an abandoned barn situated just north of Semine, slightly off the main roads. While riding north, you'll encounter a herdsman who warns you about a hostile vagrant nearby.

Inside the barn's vicinity, you'll find a beggar NPC. He'll become aggressive if approached. Currently, meaningful interaction beyond combat (killing or incapacitating him) seems impossible. After defeating him, loot his body for a gemstone ring, keys, and approximately 2.7 groschen. The barn itself also contains additional lootable items.

What to Do With the Door and Chest Keys?

Keys Found on the Wandering Drunk

The game provides no clues regarding the Wandering Drunk's identity. He might be reminiscent of a similar beggar NPC from the first game, a vagabond with no associated questlines. It's plausible he's simply lost his home and family, the keys serving only as narrative flavor.

Many NPCs in the game carry keys with unknown purposes; the Wandering Drunk's keys likely fall into this category.

This concludes our guide on the Wandering Drunk in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more game tips and information, including cures for food poisoning and romance options like Hans Capon, check out The Escapist.
