Beast Hides are obtained by defeating wildlife like moose and boar. These creatures randomly appear in specific map areas, generally avoiding players and robots. They're easily identifiable on the mini-map by their white icons (unlike machines' black icons). However, unlike machines, wildlife respawns are less frequent, requiring strategic searching.

Moose and boar exclusively inhabit the game's ruined city and forest zones. Their behavior (fleeing or attacking) depends on the level difference between you and the animal.
