Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Orders Start April 24 in U.S., Priced at $449

Exciting news for Nintendo fans—pre-orders for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 will officially begin in the U.S. on April 24, 2025. The company has confirmed that the console will maintain its original price of $449.99 and will launch globally on June 5, 2025, as previously announced.

In a recent update shared via its official website, Nintendo also noted that while the base price of the Switch 2 remains unchanged, certain accessories will see "price adjustments from those announced on April 2 due to changes in market conditions." Additionally, the company stated that further pricing modifications for any Nintendo products could occur in the future depending on economic factors.

The good news continues with the confirmation that the popular Switch 2 + *Mario Kart World* bundle will remain priced at $499.99. Both physical and digital versions of *Mario Kart World* will retail for $79.99, while *Donkey Kong Bananza* will be available at $69.99 upon launch—no price changes there.

Originally scheduled for a April 9 pre-order launch, Nintendo made the strategic decision to delay pre-orders until April 24 to "assess the potential impact of tariffs and evolving market conditions."
