Developed by Sunborn, *Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium* is an engaging free-to-play tactical RPG available on both PC and mobile devices, incorporating gacha mechanics that add an element of excitement to your gameplay. If you're curious about whether the pity counter transfers between banners, let's delve into the specifics.
Will Pity Carry Over to the Next Banner in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium?
Yes, the pity counter and pulls you accumulate on one limited banner in *Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium* will indeed carry over to the next limited banner. For instance, during the global launch, the Suomi and Ullrid limited banners ran concurrently. If you were pulling on the Suomi banner and were just one pull short of reaching pity, you could switch to the Ullrid banner for your next pull and have a 50-50 chance of securing Ullrid immediately.
This feature extends to future limited banners as well, a fact confirmed by CN players on Reddit. Once the Suomi and Ullrid banners conclude, your accumulated pity counter will transfer to the next limited banner introduced in the game.
It's important to note, however, that the pity system does not carry over between limited and standard banners. You cannot accumulate pulls on the standard banner to reach pity and then switch to a limited banner to claim the featured character.
Additionally, while the hard pity is set at 80 pulls, the soft pity mechanism begins at 58 pulls. If you haven't obtained an SSR unit by your 58th pull, your chances of landing one will incrementally increase starting from the 59th pull, until you hit the hard pity at 80 pulls if luck continues to elude you.
This should clarify any uncertainties regarding the transfer of pity in *Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium*. For more insights and tips on the game, including our reroll guide, tier list, and how to locate the mailbox, be sure to check out The Escapist.
