The game, named Star Wars: Zero Company, is being crafted by the newly-established studio Bit Reactor, with collaborative efforts from Lucasfilm Games and Respawn.

Bit Reactor, formed in 2022, is a strategy game studio composed of industry veterans from renowned titles like XCOM, Civilization, Gears of War, and Elder Scrolls Online. While it was previously known that Bit Reactor was collaborating with Respawn on a Star Wars project, the recent announcement marks the first time concrete details have been shared about Zero Company.
The extent of Respawn's involvement remains somewhat ambiguous.
