This comes mere weeks after the game's initial trailer was released on April 2, following its wishlist opening on Steam on April 1. Although the game was first teased in 2022, and alpha testing signups opened in late 2024 for a new survival game in the RuneScape universe, it wasn't until March 31, 2025, that it was officially revealed as RuneScape: Dragonwilds.
