Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete Snack Guide: Maximize Friendship Levels
This guide covers everything you need to know about snacks in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, from obtaining them to strategically using them to boost friendship levels and accelerate your Camp Manager Level progression.
Obtaining Snacks: A Comprehensive Guide
The most reliable method for acquiring snacks is through Gulliver's Ship. Sending Gulliver to special "gold islands" (identified by Villager Maps) yields significant snack rewards. Completing a special island awards 20 Gold Treats as a bonus. If you've already collected all Villager Maps, focus on "Isle of Style" islands for a guaranteed 3 Gold Treats per souvenir and another 3 as a completion bonus.
Remember, you can only see three islands at a time and get one free refresh daily. Gulliver's Ship requires cargo, craftable in your furniture catalog. Exotic Island, for example, yields modern-themed snacks and accepts Plain Packages, Plain Crates, or exotic-themed furniture (like Exotic Rugs). Longer expeditions (6 hours) generally provide more treats than shorter ones (4 hours or less). Piano Island, for instance, offers all Tart Snack varieties.
Beyond Gulliver, snacks can be obtained through:
- Requests: Completing requests with rare items often yields Bronze, Silver, or Gold Treats.
- Visitor Gifts: Visitors to your campsite/cabin may occasionally present you with snacks.
- Daily Goals: Check your Daily Goals for Silver and Gold Treat rewards.
- Blathers's Treasure Trek: Using Villager Maps and selecting "Auto-Trek" (costs 5 Leaf Tokens) guarantees Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats.
Understanding Snack Types and Values
Snacks are categorized as either regular (Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats) or themed. Regular snacks are universally appreciated. Themed snacks come in three tiers: Plain, Tasty, and Gourmet, with Gourmet providing the most friendship points and Plain the least.

Maximizing Friendship Points
Always check an animal's theme before gifting a snack. Matching themes significantly increases friendship points. Gold Treats, being generic, are always a valuable choice, granting 25 points each. Giving 10 Gold Treats to a level 1 animal instantly boosts them to level 15.
Find an animal's theme by tapping their icon at your campsite/cabin or checking your Contacts or Pete's Parcel Service if they're not at your campsite. To give a snack, tap the animal and select "Have a snack!" (highlighted in red).
By following this guide, you'll become a snack-master, efficiently leveling up friendships and progressing through Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete.
