April 2025 PlayStation Plus Games Unveiled

By MiaApr 15,2025

Sony has unveiled an exciting trio of titles for PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers in April 2025: RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5), The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PS4, PS5), and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (PS4). These games were announced in a PlayStation.Blog post and will be available to subscribers at no extra cost from April 1 until May 5, 2025.

For those eager to dive in, here's a quick poll on which game you might want to play first:

  • RoboCop: Rogue City
  • The Texas Chain Saw Massacre
  • Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory

The spotlight this month shines on RoboCop: Rogue City, a first-person shooter developed by Teyon and Nacon that lets players embody Alex Murphy in his mission to clean up a crime-ridden Detroit. A significant update in January last year added a New Game Plus mode, enhancing replayability. Our review at launch rated it a 7/10, praising its faithful adaptation of the '80s classic.

For fans of multiplayer horror, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre by Sumo Digital and Gun Media offers an intense asymmetrical experience. Players can either survive or hunt as part of the Slaughter Family, with the thrill of evading or wielding Leatherface's chainsaw. Our initial review gave it a 6/10, noting it as a fun but technically challenging game.

To balance out the adrenaline rush, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory from Bandai Namco provides a more relaxed pace. This turn-based RPG introduces over 320 Digimon for players to collect and explore a fresh perspective on the original Cyber Sleuth storyline.

As you gear up for these April titles, don't forget to grab the March 2025 PlayStation Plus games before they disappear on March 31. The lineup included Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection—a strong set that's well worth adding to your library before the deadline.

Whether you're into action, horror, or RPGs, the April 2025 PlayStation Plus lineup offers a diverse range of experiences that cater to various gaming tastes.
