Arknights: Endfield January Beta Test: Expanded Gameplay and New Features

Get ready for the next Arknights: Endfield beta test, launching mid-January! This exciting new phase, announced on December 25, 2024 by Niche Gamer, boasts significant improvements and additions based on previous player feedback.

Expanded Roster and Gameplay Enhancements

The January beta expands the playable character roster to 15, including two Endministrators, each featuring updated models, animations, and special effects.

Combat has been refined with the introduction of new combo skills and a dodge mechanic. Character progression and item usage have also been adjusted for a more engaging experience. Players can select from Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and English voiceovers and text.

Registration opened December 14, 2024. While the beta test start date and application deadline remain unannounced, selected participants will receive an email notification with installation instructions.

Base Building and Storyline Updates

The base building system receives a significant overhaul with new mechanics, tutorial levels, defensive structures, and the ability to construct and expand factories via outposts. Expect a revamped storyline, new maps, and challenging puzzles.

Arknights: Endfield Content Creator Program Vol. 1

Alongside the beta announcement, HYPERGRYPH launched the Arknights: Endfield Content Creator Program Vol. 1. This program offers selected creators access to the official community, exclusive perks, and special events.

Two content categories are available: Gameplay Insights (reviews, lore discussions, streams) and Fan Creations (memes, fanart, cosplays). While requirements are similar across categories (original content, account ownership, portfolio submission), selection is not guaranteed. Applications were accepted from December 15th to 29th, 2024.
