By MaxApr 15,2025

Pre-orders for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 were initially scheduled to go live worldwide on April 9. However, due to economic disruptions caused by tariffs imposed by the Trump administration, Nintendo was forced to delay pre-orders in the United States and Canada. Meanwhile, pre-orders proceeded as planned in other regions, including the UK.

According to an FAQ on Nintendo's website, the first invitations for pre-orders will be sent out starting May 8, 2025, exclusively through the My Nintendo Store. There is no information available yet regarding pre-orders at retail stores.
