Larian Studios unveiled a 52-second cinematic teaser on Twitter (X), showcasing a new, truly evil ending arriving in Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 7. The focus? The Dark Urge, and the horrifying consequences of embracing absolute evil.

The preview depicts a grim fate for the Dark Urge's companions. They witness their leader succumb to Bhaal's will, seizing control of the Netherbrain. The ensuing reign of terror is chillingly foreshadowed as the companions become the first victims. The Dark Urge asserts mind control, forcing them to their deaths. A chilling narration accompanies the scene: "Time for the final act. Your tragedy has become mankind's," before the Dark Urge meets a similar fate.

This is just one of several new evil endings coming in Patch 7. Larian's April community update promised "improved evil endings...for even darker conclusions." The best part? These aren't limited to Dark Urge playthroughs. Previously teased endings included the Dark Urge wading through a sea of blood and corpses, and a town succumbing to "sheer mindless bliss" under the True Absolute.

What Else is New in Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 7?

Patch 7 is massive, brimming with new content and improvements. Beyond the sinister new endings, expect a dynamic split-screen mode for co-op, enhanced Honour Mode challenges, and a highly anticipated modding toolkit.
