The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event is packed with rewards, but earning them isn't a walk in the park. One particularly tricky challenge involves breaking and repairing an object. This guide shows you exactly how to do it.

Week 2's challenge requires raising your Handiness skill to level 2 or higher—a relatively straightforward task. The real hurdle? Repairing a broken object. The game doesn't highlight broken items, so you'll need to create one yourself. While you *could* use the "prank" interaction, this requires a specific Sim trait, adding unnecessary complexity. A simpler method is to repeatedly use an item until it breaks.

The Ambassador toilet is an inexpensive option, making it ideal for this purpose. Using it roughly a dozen times will cause it to malfunction, becoming the "broken object" you need.

Once your Handiness is at level 2, simply select the "Repair" option on the broken toilet. It'll take a few seconds, but soon your plumbing woes will be over, and the Blast from the Past challenge will be complete.
