A newly discovered Warzone glitch allows players to equip Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) camos on Black Ops 6 (BO6) weapons. This workaround, detailed by BSPGamin on Twitter (and highlighted by Dexerto), is a non-official method and may be patched.
Many players consider this a desirable feature, as the meta weapons in Warzone often originate from BO6, rendering MW3 camos largely unused. The process of earning mastery camos, particularly Dark Matter, is a significant undertaking, making this glitch appealing to those who've already achieved this in MW3.
The Glitch (Requires a Friend):
- Start a private Warzone match.
- Equip a BO6 weapon in your first loadout slot.
- Join a friend's lobby.
- Equip an MW3 weapon in your first loadout slot.
- Rapidly select the desired MW3 camo while the host switches to a private match.
- The friend leaves the private match.
- Repeat steps 4 and 5, with the friend rejoining the private match.
After completing these steps, the MW3 camo should be applied to the BO6 weapon.
While this glitch offers a solution, Treyarch Studios and Raven Software are likely to address it. For players still working towards BO6 mastery camos, Treyarch has confirmed the addition of an in-game challenge tracking system, similar to that in MW3, in a future update. This will improve the camo unlocking experience.
