Season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has arrived, bringing with it a game-changing feature that streamlines the camo grind: Camo Challenge Tracking. This handy tool simplifies progression, making the pursuit of Dark Matter, Nebula, and 100 Percenter significantly easier. Let's dive into how it works.

The patch notes describe Camo Challenge Tracking as a way to “easily track up to 10 Camo and 10 Calling Card Challenges.” But the real magic lies in its ability to alert you to near-completion, even for untracked challenges—a huge time-saver on your path to those coveted mastery camos. This feature lets you actively monitor your progress within matches, eliminating the need to constantly check the main menu.

Selecting challenges to track is simple: Navigate to the desired Camo or Calling Card challenge and press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation) to add it to your tracker. From then on, you can monitor your progress live, knowing exactly what you need to do next. Even if a challenge isn't actively tracked, the system will highlight those nearing completion.

The Daily Challenges section in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 lobby provides a convenient overview of your top tracked and near-complete camo and calling card challenges. This offers a comprehensive view of your progress towards unlocking those coveted rewards.

Unlocking special camos is also easier now. Previously, nine military camos were required. Season 2 reduces this to five, though two special camos are still needed for mastery camos. This adjustment directly addresses player feedback regarding the sheer number of camos and the difficulty of tracking progress.

Treyarch has clearly listened to player concerns about camo acquisition. This update makes the process significantly more manageable and enjoyable, improving the overall Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 experience.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
