In Cassette Beasts, you find yourself stranded on the mysterious island of New Wirral, a place where time and reality seem to warp. Monsters roam freely, and locals transform into creatures to combat them. The island's economy? It runs on cassette tapes.

Your mission is to survive on New Wirral and find a way back home. To do this, you'll use your cassette player to record the island's monsters. Once recorded, you can play these tapes back to transform into the monsters themselves.

Forge strong bonds with the residents of Harbourtown, and you'll unlock the ability to fuse your monster forms with a partner. This results in unique and powerful hybrid creatures. With any two monsters able to fuse, the possibilities are virtually limitless.

New Wirral is brimming with dungeons, puzzles, and hidden areas that you can only access with the right monster abilities. Use these powers to glide over cliffs, swim through enigmatic waters, scale seemingly impossible walls, and even manipulate magnetic fields.

The game features a turn-based combat system with an intricate elemental chemistry. Strategically combine different types to weaken your foes, enhance your team, or even alter an opponent's elemental type during battle.
