Prepare for increased wild spawns of Karrablast and Shelmet, boosting your chances of catching these Pokémon. Keep an eye out for their Shiny variations!
Evolutionary Advantages:
The real excitement lies in evolution. Evolving Karrablast during the event (or until 10:00 p.m. local time on February 16th) yields an Escavalier knowing the powerful Charged Attack, Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms and Raids). Similarly, evolving Shelmet within this timeframe grants you an Accelgor with the Charged Attack, Energy Ball (a hefty 90 power in all battle scenarios).
Special and Timed Research:
Participate in the Special Research for encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, plus a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL. A week-long Timed Research event follows Community Day, unlocking further encounters with these Pokémon and their unique backgrounds. Simply log in during Community Day to unlock these tasks.
