Civ 7 Free Updates

Firaxis plans to incorporate player feedback to enhance the core gameplay through ongoing free updates. Initial updates will prioritize balance adjustments, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. Future priorities include:

  • Multiplayer team functionality for cooperative play.
  • Expansion of multiplayer to 8 players across all ages, refining the Distant Land system.
  • Player selection of starting and ending ages for customized game lengths.
  • Increased map type variety.
  • Hotseat multiplayer mode.
