"Clue Mobile Now Features 2016 Suspects"

Marmalade Game Studio has just released the 2016 Suspects Pack for the digital version of Clue, also known as Cluedo. If you're a fan of this classic murder-mystery game, you'll be thrilled to dive back into the world of some iconic characters from the 2016 edition.

Who Are the 2016 Clue aka Cluedo Suspects?

The pack features beloved characters such as Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Dr. Orchid, and Mrs. Peacock. This update is all about these characters, giving you the flexibility to use them in any scenario you choose, without being bound to specific crime scenes or case files. Whether you want to relive the nostalgia with your favorite character or mix them with the newer 2023 cast, the choice is yours.

The fanbase has been vocal about their desire to see these characters return, especially with the introduction of the more modern 2023 characters. It's great to see Marmalade Game Studio responding to the community's feedback by bringing back these beloved suspects.

There’s More Coming to the Game!

In addition to the 2016 Suspects Pack, Clue aka Cluedo is introducing a new game mode: the Retro Rules Set. This mode, which is free to all players, takes you back to the original 1949 rules, offering a nostalgic twist to your gameplay. The Retro Rules Set reintroduces classic mechanics that alter how you move and make accusations. For instance, tokens start at designated spots on the board, and Miss Scarlet always takes the first move—unless she's absent, in which case Colonel Mustard steps in.

In this mode, you can only make accusations while in a room, and Clue Cards are omitted entirely. Additionally, you cannot move through squares occupied by other players, adding a strategic layer to the game.

Be sure to check out the updated game on the Google Play Store to experience these exciting new additions.
