Crunchyroll Drops Roguelike Rhythm Game Crypt Of The NecroDancer On Android

Crunchyroll's mobile port of the critically acclaimed rhythm roguelike, Crypt of the NecroDancer, is now available on Android! Previously released on PC and with limited mobile releases, this version, simply titled "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer," boasts a wealth of new content.

What is Crypt of the NecroDancer?

Players take on the role of Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter searching for her missing parent within a rhythmically challenging crypt. The roguelike nature ensures unique gameplay with each playthrough. Featuring 15 playable characters, each with distinct abilities, the game challenges players to move and attack in time with Danny Baranowsky's original soundtrack. Failure to maintain the beat results in immediate failure. Expect a diverse cast of enemies, from dancing skeletons to musically inclined dragons.

More Than Just a Port

This mobile release isn't just a simple port; it includes remixes, fresh content, and even Danganronpa character skins. Cross-platform multiplayer and mod support are also included. Further enhancing the experience, DLC featuring Hatsune Miku and the Synchrony expansion is slated for release later this year.

Available now on the Google Play Store for Crunchyroll subscribers, this enhanced mobile version offers a compelling rhythm-based adventure. Stay tuned for more gaming news, including the upcoming Star Trek Lower Decks x Doctor Who crossover!
