Dark Souls 3 Enhances Co-op: Now Supports Six Players

If you've always found Dark Souls 3 too challenging to tackle alone, you can now conquer it with friends. Yesterday, modder Yui released a new modification that introduces full co-op support for up to six players. This community-driven project, akin to the fan-made co-op mod for Elden Ring, brings cooperative gameplay to an earlier FromSoftware title.

Currently in alpha testing, the mod allows players to complete the entire game from start to finish. It supports all multiplayer features, including invasions, and operates independently of official servers, ensuring no risk of bans.

The optimized connection system enables co-op partners to join hosts from anywhere in the world, with quick and seamless rejoining after disconnects. The Seamless Co-op mod removes all multiplayer limitations present in the original Dark Souls 3, enabling unrestricted playthroughs from the tutorial to the final boss. Additionally, enemy scaling can be adjusted to maintain a balanced and enjoyable difficulty level.
