Elements in Destiny: Rising
Elements are a brand-new feature in the Destiny universe. Each character, known officially as a "Lightbearer," is aligned with one of three elemental types:
Arc – Arc embodies motion and conduction, generated as electromagnetic forces seek equilibrium.Solar – Solar energy governs combustion, heat, nuclear fusion, and restoration. Mastering it involves embracing the star’s dual nature—harnessing the same forces that incinerate to also mend.Void – Void represents cosmic distortion, reflecting both gravitational pull and the inevitability of entropy.
Kabr (Arc Defense) – His relic ability, “Voltaic Slam,” enables Kabr to fire a powerful Arc beam from his Thunder Shield, blinding enemies within its range while entering a Super state that allows multiple consecutive strikes.Ikora (Void Offense) – With her “Nova Bomb” relic ability, Ikora launches a slow-moving supernova that detonates on impact, dealing immense Void damage.Xuan Wei (Arc Offense) – His “Juggernaut’s Dominance” relic ability transforms Xuan Wei into a commanding divine beast, unleashing devastating claw strikes that knock back foes.Wolf (Solar Offense) – Activating his “Wolf’s Butchery” relic ability, Wolf performs a sequence of Solar assaults in Super state, increasing damage with each consecutive hit on the same enemy, while maxing out his Lupine Nature and granting nearby allies Wolf’s Dash.Attal (Arc Support) – Using “Song of Faith,” Attal enters her Super state and launches bird-shaped Arc projectiles at her opponents.Finnala (Solar Defense) – Finnala’s “Reaper’s Descent” relic ability lets her perform a sustained spinning attack during her Super, inflicting Scorched on enemies while generating twice the usual enmity.
