Initiating "For Science!"
Locate Yaryk Mongoose in the Central Elevator area of the Chemical Plant. He'll contact Skif via radio, prompting a meeting. Navigate to the first floor, bypassing conveyor belts and using the rusted stairs. Speak with Mongoose to accept the quest. He'll explain the need to activate a second measuring device atop a silo.
Reaching the Silo's Peak
Ascend the building, eliminating any rodents encountered. Exit through a broken window, using the external ladder and walkway to reach the silos. Be prepared for electro anomalies; equip appropriate gear. Proceed along the silo's top to activate the measuring device.
Dealing with the Bloodsuckers
Activating the device will attract Bloodsuckers. Choose your approach: eliminate them or evade them to reach Mongoose.
Confronting Mongoose
Upon reaching Mongoose, he'll explain the experiment's unforeseen consequences. You can choose to kill him or accept his reward. Both options yield the Malachite pass, granting access to the STC Malachite. Choosing the non-hostile option provides additional rewards. The Malachite pass is your key to the STC Malachite facility, unless you've already gained access through the main storyline.
