Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is treating players to a Quad Feed Double XP event, running until January 21st, boosting progress across accounts, weapons, Battle Pass, and GobbleGum. This coincides with a 115 Day celebration honoring the Zombies community, featuring fan art, cosplay, and more, building anticipation for Season 2.
Season 2 promises a new Zombies map, "The Tomb," and significant quality-of-life improvements. The 115 Day event, referencing the iconic number in the Zombies lore, prompted Treyarch to announce the Double XP event first. This event doubles XP gains for player accounts, weapons, the Battle Pass, and GobbleGum acquisition. It's perfectly timed to help players prepare for Season 2's launch.

- 2X Player XP
- 2X Weapon XP
- 2X Battle Pass XP
Beyond the XP boost, Treyarch highlighted the dedicated Zombies community with a showcase of fan creations. Teasers for upcoming quality-of-life enhancements and Zombies Directed Mode statistics were also revealed, alongside a first look at "The Tomb," the new Zombies map.
Despite positive developments, Black Ops 6 hasn't been without its challenges. Issues like hacking, cheating, bugs, and poorly received limited-time events have contributed to a significant player base decline on some platforms, such as Steam, losing nearly half its players since its October 2024 launch. The hope is that Season 2 will revitalize the game.
