During the third day of Anime Expo 2024 in Los Angeles, RGG Studio hosted "Essence of Fandom: Like a Dragon & Yakuza Experience." The event, moderated by Linda "VampyBitMe" Le, featured Like a Dragon Chief Producer Hiroyuki Sakamoto and Ichiban Kasuga's voice actor, Kazuhiro Nakaya.
Attendees were treated to a tantalizing hint about the studio's upcoming project: "We can't reveal the game's genre, but it will surprise you," stated the representatives. This was confirmed by @TheYakuzaGuy on Twitter, who also noted that it's a new addition to the Like a Dragon franchise.
