Dungeonborne Server Shutdown Imminent

Dungeonborne, the PvPvE action game drawing inspiration from the popular Dark and Darker, is shutting down. Less than a year after launch, the developers have announced the end of support and the closure of its servers, citing low player activity and a lack of substantial updates as the primary reasons.

While the game's Steam page remains accessible via direct link, it's no longer discoverable through the platform's search function. The developers haven't publicly detailed the specifics behind the closure, but the dwindling player base is clearly a significant factor. Since late 2024, concurrent player counts rarely exceeded 200, plummeting to a mere 10-15 players in recent days.

Dungeonborne's servers will officially power down on May 28th, bringing a definitive end to the project. Despite initial interest from fans of the genre, the game will ultimately remain unrealized in its full potential.
