⚫︎ Elden Ring: Nightreign will not feature the iconic player messaging system found in previous FromSoftware titles, as confirmed by director Junya Ishizaki in an interview with IGN Japan. Each playthrough lasts around 40 minutes, and the team felt there wouldn't be enough time for meaningful message interactions. Set in the procedurally generated realm of Limveld, Nightreign adopts a roguelike format with a three-day progression system and co-op gameplay for up to three players.
