FromSoftware has released a new patch for Elden Ring Nightreign. This update focuses on bug fixes rather than introducing new features or balance adjustments.
The key points of update 1.01.4, available now on all platforms, include displaying weapon types in the Armament Information menu. It also resolves an issue where matchmaking could fail permanently after two players simultaneously joined and left your team, along with various achievement-related problems.
A notable fix addresses an exploit where characters could revive from a near-death state without being defeated during the third-day boss fight. This occurred if a player left the session and returned from the title screen. Full patch notes are provided below.
This patch does not include the highly anticipated duos mode, which FromSoftware has confirmed is in development. The studio has promised more updates as its first live-service game continues to evolve.
In other news, FromSoftware announced that the Everdark Sovereign variant of the Sentient Pest will arrive in Limveld today, July 7, at 6 PM PDT.

Elden Ring Nightreign Update 1.01.4 Patch Notes:
Bug Fixes
The weapon type is now displayed in each Armament Information menu. Fixed an issue where matchmaking would fail continuously after two players joined and left your team simultaneously. Fixed a bug where obtaining the gesture “It's Raining!” in multiplayer would not register correctly.
Note: You can still obtain the gesture by meeting the required conditions, even if you have met them before this update.
Fixed an exploit where playable characters could revive from a near-death state without being defeated during the battle with the third-day boss. This occurred after leaving a session and returning from the title screen. Fixed a bug where background music in the Recluse Remembrance would not play correctly under specific conditions. Fixed a bug where improperly quitting the game immediately after meeting the clear conditions for “Shifting Earth: Crater” could prevent the “The Crater” achievement from being awarded.
Note: If you have already earned the achievement, meeting the "Crater" clear conditions again will grant you the clearing credit once more.
Fixed several other minor bugs.
