Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2's Story Quests are back after a brief hiatus for the Outlaw Keycard Community Quest, but Stage 4 presents a significant challenge. This guide explains how to equip the Sensor Backpack and scan Mysterious Energy Signatures.
Stage 3 of the Wanted: Midas Quests requires opening an Outlaw Chest, demanding Rare rarity with the Outlaw Keycard. This involves numerous vault robberies, guard eliminations, and significant gold expenditure, potentially taking several hours. Upon completion, the demanding Stage 4 begins.
The "Sensor Backpack" isn't found in chests or on the ground. It's located behind the wolf statue south of Crime City, near the Secret Wolf Pack location. Interact with the case there to equip the backpack.

With the Sensor Backpack equipped, locate the three Mysterious Energy Signatures. They're near the backpack's location, up the mountain, marked by exclamation points. Interact with the glowing lights at each location.
While relatively close together, interacting with all three is necessary to complete the quest. Prepare for potential player encounters; looting beforehand is recommended.
After completing the Sensor Backpack challenge, proceed to Stage 5: stealing the Mask-Making Book from the Mask Maker's Hideout. Efficient players may complete this in the same session, especially with vehicle access.
