Dynabytes' Fantasma: A New AR Multiplayer GPS Adventure
Fantasma, a multiplayer augmented reality (AR) GPS adventure game from Dynabytes, recently emerged from under the radar, making its debut at Gamescom Latam. This exciting title tasks players with locating and battling mischievous creatures using portable electromagnetic fields as bait.
A recent update expanded Fantasma's reach with the addition of Japanese, Korean, Malay, and Portuguese language support. Further updates are planned to include German, Italian, and Spanish in the coming months.
The gameplay involves using your smartphone to track and battle these paranormal entities in your real-world environment. Swing your phone, keep the Fantasma in view, and tap the screen to fire projectiles, reducing their health until you can capture them in special bottles.
Fantasmas appear based on your location, encouraging exploration. Deployable sensors expand your detection radius, allowing you to attract creatures from further away. Team up with other players for a more collaborative experience.
