Fortnite Leaker Reveals Another Upcoming Anime Crossover

Fortnite Rumored to Crossover with Popular Anime Kaiju No. 8

Recent leaks suggest a potential crossover between the hugely popular battle royale game, Fortnite, and the acclaimed anime series, Kaiju No. 8. Given Kaiju No. 8's current global popularity, such a collaboration would be a logical and exciting move for Epic Games. Further fueling speculation, rumors also point towards a possible Demon Slayer crossover in the near future.

The addition of Godzilla to Fortnite on January 17th, exclusively through the Chapter 6 Season 1 battle pass, already hints at a focus on monster-themed content. This follows Fortnite's Winterfest event and the recent major 2025 update, which introduced new cosmetics, instrument back blings and pickaxes, and a local co-op mode for Fortnite Festival.

Prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX tweeted about the potential Kaiju No. 8 collaboration. The anime, based on a popular manga, follows Kafka Hibino, who gains kaiju-transforming abilities after an unusual encounter. His subsequent involvement with a monster-eliminating organization forms the core of the story. With a second season planned for 2025, a Fortnite crossover would align perfectly with the anime's continued success. If true, Kaiju No. 8 would join other popular anime franchises like Dragon Ball Z in the Fortnite universe.

More Than Just Kaiju No. 8?

Beyond Kaiju No. 8, multiple sources suggest a Demon Slayer crossover is also in the works. While specifics remain scarce, many fans anticipate new cosmetics in the Item Shop, and some even hope for map representation of characters from both anime.

Additional leaks indicate the potential arrival of more MonsterVerse characters, including King Kong and Mechagodzilla, to join Godzilla in Fortnite. With this abundance of rumored content, the remainder of 2025 promises to be an exciting year for Fortnite players.
