With the launch of *Fortnite* Chapter 6, Season 2: Lawless, Epic Games has introduced a fun new feature: *Fortnite* Moments. While map changes usually steal the spotlight in new seasons, Moments add a personalized soundtrack to your Battle Royale experience.
What Are *Fortnite* Moments?
Beyond the new Quests, Item Shop additions, and Battle Pass, the main menu now features Moments. This allows you to customize your matches with background music, playing either after exiting the Battle Bus or upon achieving a Victory Royale. The best part? You choose the tunes from your own music library.
How To Use *Fortnite* Moments

To add your personal soundtrack, navigate to the Locker tab in the main menu and scroll down to the Moments section. Select either Intro Music (for pre-match) or Celebration Music (for Victory Royales). Choose your song from your library of Jam Tracks.
How To Get *Fortnite* Moments
If your library lacks the perfect track, explore the Item Shop's "Take Your Stage" section. Over 300 Jam Tracks are available, featuring artists like Metallica, Bad Bunny, Lil Nas X, and Kendrick Lamar. Each song costs 500 V-Bucks (approximately $4.50). For better value, consider the Music Pass, offering multiple Jam Tracks, instruments, and accessories. The current Icon is Hatsune Miku, but the pass includes songs from artists like Jennifer Lopez and CAKE.
Alternatively, you can listen to in-game radio, but where's the fun in that?
That’s how to get and use Fortnite Moments. For more Fortnite news, check out the rumored collaborations for the Lawless season.
Fortnite is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
