The much-anticipated release of the hero shooter FragPunk on consoles has hit a snag due to "technical issues." While gamers on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S were gearing up for a launch on March 6, Bad Guitar, the studio behind the game, announced an unexpected delay just two days before the scheduled release. The developers cited unforeseen technical challenges as the reason for the postponement and have not yet confirmed a new release date for the console editions. However, they've promised to keep the community updated on any developments.
In a gesture of goodwill, Bad Guitar has announced that all players who pre-ordered FragPunk on consoles will be eligible for compensation. This includes the option for a full refund, as well as in-game bonuses such as credits and rewards from the first season, which will be available once the console versions finally launch.
On a brighter note, the PC version of FragPunk remains on track for its planned release on March 6. PC gamers can still look forward to diving into the action-packed world of FragPunk without any delays.
