Freedom Wars Remastered: How To Use The Cell Garden

Quick Links

The Cell Garden is a crucial location within your Panopticon, encountered early in Freedom Wars Remastered's main storyline. Beyond its story relevance, it serves as a safe and efficient resource farming area, offering a welcome alternative to the dangers of standard operations.

While multiple Cell Gardens exist throughout the game, accessing each one follows the same straightforward process, regardless of your current level. Let's explore how to locate and utilize these valuable areas.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered

Your initial Cell Garden visit is triggered by Mattias's request to investigate a ghost girl story. To begin your search, head to Level 2's main cell block, specifically 2-A000. In the left corner, you'll find a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with it to travel to 2-E165, the same area where you previously encountered Enzo.

From 2-E165, follow the right-hand wall to another small room containing a device that transports you to 2-G100. Repeat this process one final time; the far room in 2-G100 houses the device leading to the Cell Garden.

This path to the Cell Garden remains consistent across all levels. Unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement significantly reduces travel time. After completing the main quest involving the Cell Garden, you gain access at any time, but acquiring the Quick-Travel Entitlement is highly recommended. Each device leading to the next area or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon.

How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered

The Cell Garden's function differs during the main story mission from its subsequent use. Here's how it operates outside of the main quest:

  • A one-minute time limit is imposed before expulsion.
  • The room's layout changes randomly with each visit.
  • Eight resources, represented by small green orbs, are scattered throughout the room.

To extend your Cell Garden stay, consider purchasing Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These upgrades increase your time limit; the first upgrade grants two minutes and becomes available at CODE level 3. More complex layouts may necessitate these upgrades.
