Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse loadout customization options. While weapons and Thrones are less frequently swapped, Combat Items—consumable resources with varied uses—are often limited.
Completing operations sometimes yields Combat Items, but rarely enough for substantial stockpiling. Initially, only one Combat Item can be equipped. This guide addresses both issues.
How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
Increasing your Combat Item capacity requires specific Entitlements. In your cell, access the Window On Liberty and select "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the Equipment section, then tab right to find the "One-Item Permit." Subsequent permits, acquired sequentially, increase your maximum equipped Combat Items to four.
Story progression unlocks these permits quickly, with all four available by CODE level 3. Each permit unlocks after purchasing the previous one. Equipping a Combat Item uses your entire stack; equipping a Frag Grenade, for instance, consumes all available grenades at the operation's start.
Accessories can also equip a single Combat Item, used at your discretion.
Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
After progressing beyond the initial missions, access The Warren hub. Zakka's store (upper level, right side) sells weapons and, importantly, Combat Items via the "Buy Items" option, categorized as Munitions and Medical Supplies.
- Munitions: Directly damage enemies.
- Medical Supplies: Healing, ailment cures, ammunition replenishment.
Combat Items are individually priced; bulk purchases require significant Entitlement Points. Donating excess resources is advisable for acquiring large quantities of Medkits, for example. Operations sometimes reward Combat Items, but this is an unreliable farming method due to completion time and the potential for consuming more than you gain.
