Geoff Keighley, host and producer of Gamescom Opening Night Live (ONL), has officially confirmed the unveiling of brand-new games alongside significant updates on already announced titles and highly anticipated releases. The event promises a major showcase of upcoming titles.

While Gamescom has already previewed a selection of games, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Monster Hunter: Wilds, Civilization VII, MARVEL Rivals, Dune: Awakening, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the ONL will feature previously unannounced games. The livestream will begin on August 20th at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET across official streaming platforms.

Keighley further revealed that the show will include the first gameplay footage of Don't Nod's interactive adventure, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, and a new trailer for Warhorse Studios' Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. THQ Nordic has also confirmed the unveiling of a new game from Tarsier Studios, the creators of the Little Nightmares series.

Call of Duty fans can expect a major highlight: the first-ever public gameplay demonstration of the Black Ops 6 campaign. Although Nintendo will be absent from Gamescom 2024, The Pokémon Company will be a featured presence at the event.
