The upcoming season of Pokémon GO, dubbed Might and Mastery, is set to introduce a martial arts flair to the game, starting on March 4th, 2025, and running until June 3rd, 2025. This action-packed event will introduce a new Pokémon alongside a legendary debut, ensuring a thrilling experience for players.
Who’s the Might and Mastery in Pokémon GO?
The star of the Might and Mastery event is Kubfu, the adorable Fighting-type Pokémon ready to train by your side. Throughout the event, you'll have the opportunity to evolve Kubfu into one of its two powerful forms: Single Strike Style or Rapid Strike Style Urshifu. This season also introduces Dynamax battles, where you can witness Pokémon, including Kubfu, grow to colossal sizes during combat.
The excitement kicks off with the Might and Mastery Special Research, available for claim from March 5th at 10:00 a.m. until June 3rd at 9:59 a.m. This research will unlock in stages over the season, so be sure to frequently check your research tab to not miss out on the exciting rewards and challenges.
From March 5th to March 10th, the Powerful Potential event marks Kubfu's official debut in Pokémon GO. This little warrior is unique as it cannot be traded, sent to the professor, or transferred to Pokémon HOME, making it a rare addition to your team.
Participate in Epic Battles
From March 8th at 6:00 a.m. to March 9th at 9:00 p.m., the game will be dominated by Max Battles, with Power Spots refreshing more frequently. One-Star Max Battles will feature Dynamax Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble, while Six-Star Max Battles will bring out the heavy hitters: Gigantamax Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. Additionally, you can challenge Gothita, Solosis, and Sinistea in One-Star Raids, and face off against Alolan Raichu, Hisuian Typhlosion, and Sableye in Three-Star Raids.
If you're a Pokémon GO enthusiast, the Might and Mastery event is not to be missed. If you haven't joined the adventure yet, you can download the game from the Google Play Store and dive into the action.
