Marvel Television has reportedly hit the pause button on three anticipated series: *Nova*, *Strange Academy*, and *Terror, Inc*. According to sources cited by Deadline, these projects were never officially greenlit and, while they might still see the light of day, Marvel has decided to shift its focus elsewhere.
This strategic pivot comes as Marvel Studios gears up for the launch of the Disney+ series *Daredevil: Born Again*. This week, Marvel Studios' head of streaming and TV, Brad Winderbaum, disclosed that the studio is considering a reunion of the street-level heroes from *Daredevil*, *Luke Cage*, *Jessica Jones*, and *Iron Fist*, collectively known as The Defenders.

Marvel Studios is now adopting a more selective approach, developing more shows than it ultimately produces. Brad Winderbaum emphasized this cautious strategy in a statement to Screen Rant last year: "We’re really being careful about what we choose to do next."
The decision to pause *Nova* is particularly noteworthy, as it was only two months ago that former *Criminal Minds* showrunner Ed Bernero was announced as the writer and showrunner for the series, which was set to stream on Disney+. *Strange Academy* was slated to explore the adventures at a magical school founded by MCU mainstay Doctor Strange, with Wong taking the helm. Details on *Terror, Inc.* remain scarce, however.
Here’s what we can confirm about upcoming Marvel TV shows: *Daredevil: Born Again* is set to premiere on Disney+ on March 4, followed by *Ironheart* on June 24, and *Wonder Man* in December. On the film front, three MCU movies are slated for release this year after *Captain America: Brave New World*: *Thunderbolts* in May and *The Fantastic Four: First Steps*.
