The latest season of Marvel Snap is all about legacy, and it's packed with exciting updates that will redefine your gameplay experience. The spotlight is on Sam Wilson, who steps into his new role as Captain America, introducing fresh mechanics that will shift the dynamics of your matches. Alongside Sam, characters like Diamondback and Thaddeus Ross bring new strategic layers, ensuring that this season is full of surprises and challenges.
Sam Wilson's debut in Marvel Snap comes with a Season Pass that celebrates his transformation from Falcon to Captain America. His card ability starts each match by placing Cap's Shield at a random location. This Shield can be moved across the board and, while indestructible, it boosts Sam's power by +2 whenever it lands in his location.
The roster expands with new characters throughout February. Joaquín Torres joins the fray on February 4th, followed by Iron Patriot and Thaddeus Ross on February 11th. Redwing arrives on the 18th, and Diamondback rounds out the month on February 25th. These Series 5 cards will be available in the Token Shop and Spotlight Cache, offering multiple opportunities to add them to your collection.

Two new locations are also being introduced to Marvel Snap. The Smithsonian Museum enhances Ongoing abilities with an additional +1 Power per card, while Madripoor amplifies the highest-cost cards at its location by +2 Power after each turn. These locations encourage innovative deck builds, pushing players to adapt their strategies to the new seasonal landscape.
For collectors, February brings new albums filled with avatars, emotes, and variants. The Viktor Farro album, released on February 4th, includes rewards like a Darkhawk variant and collector's tokens. On February 25th, the Lemon Fashion album will be available, featuring exclusive Elsa Bloodstone content.
