Capcom extends the Monster Hunter Wilds beta test due to a PlayStation Network outage. The outage, lasting approximately 24 hours, began Friday, February 7th, at 3 PM PT, preventing online gameplay. In response to the disruption, Sony provided PlayStation Plus subscribers with five extra days of service.
The Monster Hunter Wilds beta, originally scheduled from February 6th to 9th, was significantly impacted. To compensate, Capcom has announced a 24-hour extension to the next beta session. This extended session will now run from Thursday, February 13th, 7 PM PT (February 14th, 3 AM GMT) to Monday, February 17th, 6:59 PM PT (February 18th, 2:59 AM GMT).
Participation bonuses, redeemable in the full game, remain available during this extended beta period. Despite the previous outage, beta testers had the opportunity to engage with the challenging new monster, Arkveld.
Monster Hunter Wilds officially launches on February 28th, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
